4 Years, 1,460 days, 35,040 hours, Too Many Minutes and Seconds to Count

So here we are another anniversary, another year gone by, another set of days without your smile, your laugh, your presence here for me to take in. This year has been a year of reclaiming myself. Finding a small amount of peace within my grief. Learning that I can feel happiness again and not feel guilty to have that in my life.

Another 4th of July = Another Day of Anxiety for Krissie the Emotional Support Dog in the Books

It is sometimes interesting how animals and people come together for each other. My emotional support dog, Krissie, most of the time needs more support from me than I do from her. She HATES loud noises, motorcycles, air vents above the stove, just about anything noisy she hates it and runs for cover.

Taking a Break!

I am writing this to let everyone know that I am taking a break from social media and my blog for a while. I will be back and be strong so look for future posts. I have already removed the social media apps from my phone and will be removing this app as well.

Like I said, I will be back in a while.

Thank you all for the continued support

Carnival Triumph – Family Vaca 2017

Sorry for taking a bit to write this one since we have returned….

So I told you all that we were taking a family vacation together for the first time since we lost Big Bubby. The crew included, my husband and I, Million Dollar Brother and Dapper Des, Baby Sis and Red Headed Step Child (need a new name for him, explanation later in post), my close friend from high school who lost her only child a year and three months before Big Bubby (Oklahoma Girl), and my mom (Nana). A LONG TIME HAS GONE BY…..

So it has been months since I have written a post to my blog. A lot has happened in those months and I am trying to get back to writing again. It has been over 3 months now since I have written. I don’t hold back in this post, this tells the dirty truth about a parent grieving and how it quickly spirals out of control even for those of us who feel we are strong enough to handle ourselves without help.
