I have posted a few times before this that due to certain circumstances, my faith in humanity has been lost. Again, this proved true two weeks ago yesterday. Continue reading “Lost Faith in All Humanity…..”
School Starting, Football Season, and Only Memories to Share!
It’s that time of year again when school districts are starting back to school. Since we no longer have kids in high school or grade school, we no longer have to buy the school supply list that irritates me each year. I never understood why I had to by a million boxes (OK maybe a bit of an exaggeration) of pencils, Kleenex, paper towels, etc. When I know my kids would never go through all of them.

THANK YOU!
I just want to say Thank You to my followers. I have hit 300 in just a few short months I have been blogging. This is a tool for me to talk about the loss of my son and I guess you could say my therapy sessions. I also blog about other things going on in my life. I hope you enjoy.
First Birthdays….
July is a huge month for birthdays for our family. Baby Sis’s is the seventh, my husbands is the 22nd, and mine is the 31st. We also have multiple aunts, nieces, and cousins on my husbands side of the family that falls all over July dates. I don’t think there are many days that there isn’t a birthday going on somewhere in the country for our family.
How Will My Faith Ever Come Back….
I have stated in other blogs that I have read at least six books on the death of a child. All based on Christian parents before and after their child passed. They have all leaned heavily on their faith to get them through the rough times.
Growing Girl
Our Krissie girl is growing like a weed and shedding three dogs a week. We vacuum more now than ever. Once we vacuum, you can see black dog hair everywhere again. It is crazy the amount of hair that comes off her. You would think she would be bald by now.
Eight Months and Counting….
So this past Sunday marked eight months that Big Bubby has been gone from this earth. It seems like yesterday we received the call that he was gone. Time goes by so fast, yet so painfully slow if that makes sense to anyone. Continue reading “Eight Months and Counting….”
Making Up for Lost Time
A few weeks ago, my husband found out that a close friend who is much more like a brother to him, lost his dad to cancer. My husband hasn’t talked to this friend in probably 20 years or so. We will call him Hunter for this blog, guy hunts anything that he can. A few months after Big Bubby’s accident, I reconnected with a friend from college, we will call her my College Sister as well.

Turning 18 and All that Comes with Freedom
So yesterday was a bittersweet day for me. Baby Sis turned 18 today. We have no more “kids” in our house. Not that she has been a “kid” in a long time but for purposes of the State of Texas, she is now an adult. Nor has she lived with us for the last seven months or so since she went to college a semester early.
