This assignment is to either critique a piece of art work or talk about something we are passionate about. I am doing both because the piece of art defines something I am passionate about.

When my husband and I met he was in the Air Force. We were stationed in Oklahoma at Tinker Air Force Base. There were only four bases that we could be stationed, Oklahoma, Alaska, Japan and a NATO air base in Germany. The writing today is supposed to be about going back and writing letters the way we did before we had computers and email. The topics to choose from are:

• A humorous or satirical letter to a celebrity or public figure.
• A piece of constructive criticism (or praise) to a politician.
• A letter to a thing — a fear, a bad habit, an object, a place, etc.
• A note to yourself at a specific age/year in the past or future.
• A letter to someone who cannot respond (a loved one who has passed, a fictional character).

Well we all know which one this mom is going to take to write about. This might get to mushy for some of you, there might be tears as well, so you are free to move on for the day. 🙂 This might be a long one too.
